Quality Control Systems Through Standards and Worldwide Rewards

Primary objective of the ZAROS SA Quality Control Department is to maintain the same quality of our water from the original source to the consumer. In order to achieve this, the whole process meet the requirements of the EN ISO 9001:2008 and EN ISO 22000:2005 standards.

Quality for our water products is very important for us, and we are committed in keeping high levels of quality throughout our production process. We make sure that our water is bottled without any outer influence until the sealing of every bottle. Our laboratory conducts chemical and microbiological analyses in every production batch, guaranteeing the excellent quality of our products.

The chemical construction of our water is confirmed on a trimester basis by the Institute of Geology and Mineral Exploration (IGME) and accordingly in cooperation with the University of Crete in a regular basis microbiological tests occur by the analyzers of the Laboratory of Food Microbiology and Water University of Crete.

ZAROS SA has been rewarded with the special quality trademark of Region of Crete and in April 2016, ZARO’S water was evaluated by 30 internationally renowned tasters and judges and rewarded with two stars for its quality and flavor
