ZARO’S plant is located few kilometers away from municipality of Zaros in Heraklion prefecture on a field of 15.850,8 m2.

45 kilometers distance south of Heraklion, Crete is located the Village Zaros. Zaros is built on a green valley on the roots of mountain Psiloritis. Zaros is a village with rich ancient history that is confirmed by the Minoan findings in location Kourtes, the remaining of a roman aqueduct that supplied with fresh water ancient city of Gortyna and the Byzantine Monasteries of the area.
